Upside Down House UK to operate their first Upside Down House in Wales, located in the heart of the capital, Cardiff! An interactive photo attraction designed for visitors of all ages, whether you’re a content creator, a family planning your next day out, or simply seeking a unique adventure, this experience will turn your world upside down.
The house will feature a green, white and red exterior, complementing the lively city streets. Just a short walk from Cardiff Castle, St David’s Shopping Centre, and the Principality Stadium, Upside Down House Cardiff is perfectly situated to add a playful twist to your visit.
Inside you can explore eight immersive spaces where everyday objects, furniture, and décor are flipped upside down. Highlights include inspiration from the legend of the Welsh Dragon, a rugby-themed tribute to Wales’ sporting passion, and a farm-style lounge featuring playful sheep details and cosy interiors. Every room offers unforgettable memories and interactive fun.
Upside Down House Cardiff is located on Queen Street, adjacent to The Capitol Shopping Centre. Visitors arriving by train can reach it easily from Cardiff Central station, while nearby parking is available at St David’s Dewi Sant, Capitol Shopping Centre, and NCP Dumfries Place.

- Customers booking time slots online for either part of the day are prioritised ahead of visitors without bookings when it is exceptionally busy during peak times of the year, such as weekends and school holidays.

- Please do not move and/or hold onto any props or fixtures inside the house. If you attempt to cause any damage, then you will be asked to leave immediately and be liable for all costs.
- We recommend that you do not take part in this experience if you are pregnant and/or have severe motion sickness.
- You may be denied entry if you seem dizzy, drunk or under the influence of an illegal substance.
- Opening hours are subject to change.
- Queues may be exceptionally longer on weekends, school holidays and peak times.
Our team manages queues and assists visitors as best as they can. However, this can be difficult. We appreciate your understanding and effort in being respectful to our staff. We do not tolerate abuse and have a zero tolerance policy. - We would like this to be a great experience for all, so no more than 20 people can be in the house at any time. We limit each floor to 10 people, with the overall experience lasting about 15-20minutes. The last entry is 30 minutes before closing.

Bring along your smartphone, GoPro or camera – whatever you decide to take your best photos with. We do not, however, permit any professional equipment to be used for filming unless our Corporate Team has provided prior written consent.

- Please mind you head in the house as all the furniture is on the ceiling.
- Be mindful of the uneven flooring and narrow staircase to avoid trips or slips. We are not responsible for any personal injury once you have entered the House.
- Children under the age of 12 must always be supervised by an adult or guardian over the age of 18.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our attraction, we are not wheelchair accessible. The attraction itself has 2 floors, separated by a spiral staircase, with no lift or ramp alternative to the second floor.

Standard tickets without additional Ticket Protection cannot be refunded for adverse weather, queues or any other reason, including those that are outside of our control.
