We are delighted to announce that a new house is currently being built at Clarence Pier, Portsmouth. The construction process started last week as planned and it is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The process involves working diligently and efficiently to deliver on the ambitious plans. Our construction team works closely with the design team to ensure we meet the latest interior and exterior trends while at the same time we follow the traditional and unique concept of Upside Down House
Clarence Pier is one of the largest amusement parks on the south coast and boasts all manner of amusements, rides, and activities for all the family. It has delighted the people of Portsmouth and the south coast for decades, and is just a 10 minute trip away from the Isle of Wight. With a wealth of attractions in the area, and new developments at Clarence Pier, including an 18 hole mini-golf course arriving in the summer, the Upside Down House will fit it in perfectly as a family day out.
The exterior features deep sea blue and New England white colours that have been selected to go along with the beautiful seafront at Southsea. The interior has been designed with an open plan layout to allow customers to move around our amazing attraction to get the best pictures possible. The modern stylish design compliments the unique photo opportunities Upside Down House provides.
From next spring onwards, visitors will have the chance to dance on the ceiling when they visit the inverted house along with the rest of the fun attractions at Clarence Pier.
We look forward to opening in March 2023. The opening date and times will be announced soon.
