Earlier this month, our Business Director, and our Marketing Manager were honoured to meet with the Regional Partnership Development Executive and the Senior Partnership Managers of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. They were invited to go on a hospital tour of Great Ormond Street Hospital and its buildings which was an excellent way for us as partners to understand how we could better meet the charity’s needs.
Upside Down House has always been focused on offering joy and a unique experience to parents and children. We always try to find new ways to be more accessible and to spread joy to more and more children. We are beyond thrilled that we now have the opportunity to be an official Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity partner and to support them on their mission of helping children with complex health needs fulfil their potential.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is an extraordinary hospital, and we celebrate a remarkable partnership today.
Pablo, Business Director, went on to state “We are incredibly proud to work in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital who are tirelessly dedicated to children’s healthcare, and to improving ways to treat childhood illnesses, particularly those with rare or complex diseases.
“GOSH has touched many people’s lives with their care, ensuring there are immersive spaces for children to understand more about their surroundings. With spaces dedicated to children’s education and relaxation. During the visit hosted by the GOSH team, we were excited to learn about new wellbeing projects being delivered as part of their five-year strategy.
“As a family attraction that welcomed over 350,000 visitors last year, we take pride in having dedicated sensory spaces for children to enjoy, in a very unique setting. We hope to replicate some of these spaces at Great Ormond Street Hospital, in addition to raising funds and awareness to support them.”
